🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Dallas, Texas, reported in 1960 a diamond-shaped object outlined with glowing red lights. He described it as three to four times faster than a jet aircraft, which drew attention due to its speed and appearance. The report, under Project 10073, concluded it was likely a meteor. Despite no photos or physical evidence, the witness, a former FBI agent, stated the observation was clear and direct. The object flew in a straight line and disappeared after a few seconds, adding mystery to the sighting.
The official Air Force report suggested the witness might have seen a meteor breaking up. Weather conditions were ideal for clear observation, with a clear sky and good visibility. Although the air traffic control was contacted, there were no records of sightings or interceptions. The most plausible explanation, given the lack of additional data, pointed to an astronomical phenomenon. However, the detailed description of the object and its unusual speed remain intriguing for UFO researchers.
