🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A woman in Malden, Massachusetts, reported a brief luminous phenomenon in the early morning of May 21, 1960. While looking out her window, she observed a bright white glow that quickly crossed the glass, disappearing in two seconds. The object left no trace and made no sound, and the observation was so fleeting that she only noted it was descending. Despite the brevity of the event, the testimony includes details such as the object's relative size and movement, which caught her attention enough to trace its path with a pencil.
The Air Force concluded that the phenomenon was likely not a balloon, aircraft, or astronomical object, but rather a light reflection. However, the official report acknowledges that the lack of additional information prevents a definitive evaluation. The woman attempted to get more answers through a letter, but received no clear response. The case was filed without resolution, leaving open the possibility of an unusual optical phenomenon or an incomplete observation of an unknown object.
