Summary

In May 1960, a qualified aviation observer reported an unusual aerial phenomenon over Las Vegas. The witness, a director of research and development for an airline, saw an object that disappeared behind clouds and reappeared as two. It moved at an extreme speed and altitude, making a sharp 90-degree turn. Although initially considered an aircraft, his aviation expertise led to the conclusion that it was not a typical case. The lack of photos and the flight behavior led to classifying it as insufficient for a definitive evaluation.

The official report failed to identify the object and was recorded as a case with insufficient data. Despite the observer being an aviation expert, the case could not be resolved with certainty. The object remained in the sky for a few minutes, at a high altitude, and its behavior did not fit known phenomena of the time. This event, though brief, generated interest due to the qualified observer and the inability to explain it with conventional means.
