🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
An observer in Speicher, Germany, reported a bullet-shaped object descending at a 45-degree angle. The object was approximately the size of a C-124 and had a brown and red body with a green fluorescent shimmer. The sighting lasted 8 to 10 seconds and no sound was heard. The initial report deemed the data insufficient for a definitive evaluation, but the observer described it as different from a meteor, balloon, or aircraft.
The report includes precise location, time, and weather details. The observer, a German civilian technical translator, insisted the object did not resemble a conventional aircraft. Although it was suggested the object could have been a reflection of airport beacons, the official report did not rule out the possibility of an unidentified object.
