🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1960, three round amber objects appeared in the sky over Oak Hill, West Virginia. Witnesses described them as pea-sized and arranged in a V formation. They moved in a straight line from east to west at high altitude and disappeared over the horizon. The sighting lasted 3 to 5 minutes, and several family members and a neighbor confirmed it. Although initially confusing, investigators concluded they were three aircraft at high altitude.
The case generated local curiosity, with reports in the *Fayette Tribune*. Despite questions about their nature, the official response was clear: there was no evidence of extraterrestrial activity. However, uncertainty lingered among residents, who couldn’t help but wonder if those objects might be something more than planes.
