🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1960, an object was seen falling near Hyattsville, Maryland. Three witnesses, including a military observer in flight, reported the event. The object left no trail or sound, and its color varied depending on the observer. Although one witness identified it as a falling star, the brief and erratic nature of the sighting raised questions. The Air Force concluded it was likely a meteor, but other possibilities were not ruled out. A plane was diverted to investigate, but could not confirm the object's identity.
