🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A small oval object was sighted in Lorain, Ohio, on July 23, 1960, and remained visible for 30 minutes. The witness described it as a light flashing green, white, and red colors. Although initially considered a balloon or astronomical phenomenon like the star Vega, investigators concluded that the color changes and flickering were due to atmospheric refraction. The report, part of Project 10073, included no photos but a detailed account from the observer.
