Summary

A small oval object was sighted in Lorain, Ohio, on July 23, 1960, and remained visible for 30 minutes. The witness described it as a light flashing green, white, and red colors. Although initially considered a balloon or astronomical phenomenon like the star Vega, investigators concluded that the color changes and flickering were due to atmospheric refraction.
