🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1960, an observer in Los Angeles spotted a luminous object moving across the sky. The object, which emitted red and green colors, was seen for a few seconds before disappearing. Although initially intriguing, further investigations revealed it was not an unexplained phenomenon.
The U.S. Air Force, after interviewing witnesses and consulting with astronomers at Griffith Park Observatory, concluded the object was a meteorite. This identification, supported by experts, allowed the case to be closed without further investigation. The official report confirmed there was no evidence of an unidentified phenomenon, but rather a well-documented natural event.
