🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1950, a witness in Dayton, Ohio, observed three round objects that appeared as white, transparent lights. They were following an aircraft, and two of them deviated from their path, one moving to the right. The observation lasted between 5 and 3 minutes, but the official report deemed it unreliable. The witness was unsure of what they were seeing, and investigators concluded they could be light reflections, though there was no solid evidence to support any theory.
The original Project 10073 report describes the sighting as confusing and lacking a solid basis for conclusion. Despite the witness appearing convinced, investigators could not determine the nature of the objects with certainty. Other witnesses, such as Mantia, also saw the phenomenon, but no satisfactory explanation was obtained. The case was filed as likely unexplained, without ruling out the possibility of reflections or airborne lights.
