🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A ground observer spotted a star-shaped object, the size of a nickel, changing colors from red to white to green. The object appeared to be rotating and moved northwest for two hours before disappearing. Although radar searches were conducted without success, it was suggested the object might be beyond the equipment's range. The observation was considered very reliable, but the lack of precise altitude and angle data made a definitive evaluation difficult.
Interestingly, the star Arcturus, a well-known astronomical body, disappeared from the horizon around the same time as the object. This led to the possibility that it was an astronomical phenomenon, although other explanations were not ruled out. The report, classified under Project 10073, did not include photos but featured multiple consistent testimonies. Despite the thorough report, the nature of the phenomenon remains a mystery.
