In August 1960, an observer at Zaragoza Air Base in Spain reported an unidentified object with a bright appearance and a straight trajectory. The classified report suggests it could be a weather balloon or a meteor. Although the sighting described a bright object with a trail of sparks, the lack of precise data and the brief observation (5-10 seconds) made a detailed evaluation difficult. The object's sudden disappearance added mystery to the case.
The report includes additional questions directed at witnesses regarding the object's elevation and direction, indicating that military personnel sought more details to rule out conventional explanations. Despite the limitations of the report, the analysis concluded it was likely an astronomical phenomenon. This case, like many others, reflects the difficulty of distinguishing between natural phenomena and unexplained atmospheric events.
