Summary

A cigar-shaped object was observed in Milwaukie, Oregon, in 1960. The witness, a civilian with a college education, described a light similar to that of a phosphorescent jellyfish. The object moved rapidly toward the southeast without making any sound. Although several explanations were considered, such as balloons or aircraft, the data was not conclusive.

The observation lasted less than five minutes, and there were no photographs or radar data involved. The official evaluation concluded that there was insufficient information to determine the nature of the object. This case remains one of the unresolved mysteries in the UFO files.
