🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1960, an Air Force officer and a sergeant reported the sighting of an unidentified object over Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The object was described as green and sea blue, roughly the size of a C-47, and left a long trail ending in a reddish-yellow color. The observation was made by an entire battalion during a morning formation, suggesting a collective and not isolated sighting. Although no photos or sounds were recorded, witnesses claimed the object was moving faster than any known missile of the time.
Clear weather conditions and known atmospheric data, including wind patterns at different altitudes, were documented. However, the nature of the object could not be conclusively determined. While possibilities such as meteors or balloons were considered, the report concluded there was insufficient data for a definitive evaluation. This case remains one of many UFO sightings that challenge conventional explanations.
