🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1960, a U.S. Air Force officer documented a UFO sighting southwest of Nashua, Montana. A luminous object broke into several pieces, displaying colors ranging from blue to red, and fell in a straight line before vanishing. Witnesses on the ground and in the air provided consistent descriptions, leading to a strong belief that it was not a meteor. The Air Force considered the possibility that it was a reentering spacecraft, specifically the 1960 Epsilon vehicle, parts of which were known to be falling at that time. Although no photos were taken, the detailed description and agreement among observers suggest the phenomenon was real and noteworthy.
