In September 1960, several citizens of Bermuda reported sightings of a dull orange object emitting a strange whirring sound. The sightings occurred during the evenings of the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of September and were recorded as part of Project 10073. Despite the reports, no photos were taken and no further investigations were received, leading to the case being classified as insufficient for evaluation. The mystery remains without a clear explanation.

The official report did not rule out possible conventional explanations such as balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena, but also did not confirm any.
