🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1960, a 13-year-old in Paterson, New Jersey, observed two bright objects in the night sky. He described disc-like shapes the size of a silver dollar, orange in color, moving in V formations, one upright and one inverted. The objects were initially separated, came close together, then separated again, disappearing to the east. The report reached Project 10073 four months later, in February 1961, and concluded it was likely a meteor. Despite the lack of photos or radar data, the report highlights the clear visibility and absence of noise or additional features.
