🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Boulder, Colorado, reported a white object the size of a pea, seen more than 45° above the horizon. The object initially appeared stationary before moving westward and disappearing below the horizon. The observation lasted 20 minutes, and the report concluded it was likely Venus. The witness, associated with public education, seemed reliable.
Weather conditions at Lowry showed unlimited visibility and scattered clouds. Although the University of Colorado observatory also saw the object, they couldn't identify it. The official report classified it as an astronomical phenomenon.
