🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A luminous object was sighted in Puerto Rico in October 1960, with witnesses on land and in the air. It was described as a white ball with an intermittent tail, observed for several minutes. The Air Force concluded it was a Titan rocket launched from Cape Canaveral, just minutes earlier. Coordinates and direction matched the launch, and color and trajectory also fit. Although some observers noted differences in description, the most plausible explanation pointed to a military rocket. The official response was clear and based on precise data, convincing investigators it was not an unexplained phenomenon.
