🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A bright object with a multicolored tail was seen in the sky above Lake Ozark, Missouri, in November 1960. The witness described it as extremely luminous, with a red tail showing traces of blue and green. The object crossed the sky to the north without making any sound, raising questions about its nature. Although a balloon or satellite was initially considered, analysts concluded it was likely a fireball meteor. Investigators did not receive answers to their follow-up questions, but the observer's description matched typical features of a bright meteor.
