🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1960, a witness in Leticia, Colombia, reported seeing a crystal-like ball about three feet in diameter flying low over an airstrip. The object traveled approximately 1500 feet at around 30 feet altitude before ascending vertically at high speed. Although multiple witnesses confirmed the sighting, the lack of weather data and precise measurements prevented a conclusive evaluation. Investigators considered the possibility of a mirage but could not rule out other explanations. The case was classified as "insufficient data for evaluation," a common category for UFO reports where information is incomplete or contradictory.
