🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1960, multiple observers near Seminole, Texas, reported a bright, round object the size of a half-dollar. The object emitted a brilliant yellow-orange glow and rotated at about 60 cycles per minute, resembling a rotating beacon. Witnesses saw it just 2-3 degrees above the horizon, and it vanished suddenly. Despite poor visibility conditions, both civilian and military observers confirmed the presence of the object.
A follow-up investigation revealed that three days after the sighting, a T-33 aircraft observed a rotating beacon mounted on a 50-foot pole, matching the reported characteristics. Investigators concluded the object was likely a beacon, possibly seen for the first time under those weather conditions. Although some reported radio and TV interference, it was considered coincidental. The case was ultimately resolved satisfactorily, without supernatural explanations.
