🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1960, multiple sightings of an unidentified object were recorded at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, each night between 1800 and 2000 hours. The object, described as a bright star-like point, moved in a zigzag pattern and in spurts, generating uncertainty about its nature. Witnesses included military personnel and the base's weather station. Despite observations with telescopes and official notifications, the object could not be clearly identified.
The official conclusion suggested it might have been a balloon, although there were no precise data on high-altitude winds. The object's movement characteristics and lack of noise or trail made identification difficult. This case is part of a series of reports from the era reflecting uncertainty and interest in unconventional aerial phenomena.
