🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1960, a civilian observer south of Buffalo, New York, spotted a white object with red blinking lights. The UFO moved slowly south and then west, rotating in a circular motion. Witnesses included military and civilian personnel who photographed the object and tracked it with transits. The photos showed no UFO, only the path of Venus, which was unusually bright at the time. The investigation concluded the object was likely the planet Venus, magnified by atmospheric haze. Despite multiple nightly observations, no evidence of an unidentified phenomenon was found.
