Rectangular UFO with Flames in Singenfingen

Summary

A 1961 report describes a rectangular UFO emitting orange flames, observed near Stuttgart, Germany. The witness, SP4 Wilfred F. Schuelke, saw two objects: a round shape with a rectangle above it, clearly separated. A faint high-pitched whistle was heard before they reached the zenith. The main object moved in a straight path, with the rectangle swaying side to side.

After reaching the zenith, the round object exploded in red flames, causing the rectangle to catch fire and break into flaming pieces. The entire event lasted three minutes, and the witness estimated the object was much larger than visible stars. Despite the detailed description, investigators concluded the data was insufficient for a valid evaluation.
