🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian witness reported a fast-moving light over the sky of Ohio in January 1961. The phenomenon began when a light appeared from the north, traveled south, disappeared, and then reappeared to move north-south before exploding without sound. The witness described the object as lightning-shaped but could not specify its color or altitude. Attempts to contact the witness were unsuccessful, complicating the evaluation of the case.
The lack of precise details and the inability to verify the information led to the report being classified as "Insufficient Data." Although the explosion and rapid movement resembled a fireball, there was not enough evidence to reach a definitive conclusion. The case remains a mystery in the records of Project 10073.
