🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1961, a radio officer in the Pacific reported a bright object resembling a shooting star. The luminous object moved east to west, split into two pieces, and burned up in the atmosphere. The observation was recorded as an astronomical event, likely a bolide. The data align with the typical characteristics of a meteoroid entering Earth's atmosphere. Although no photos were taken, the detailed description and precise location helped classify the case.
