🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1961, four Finnish pilots observed a luminous phenomenon resembling a glowing disk with blurred edges. The object, the size of a full moon, moved northward and faded like a ring of light. Initially considered a balloon or astronomical event, the sighting coincided with the launch of a Soviet Venus probe, suggesting a possible connection. The object's sudden appearance and behavior ruled out natural phenomena like the northern lights.
