🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
An object was observed in Kettering, Ohio, on May 7, 1961. The witness described it as a bright object that appeared in the sky, brighter than the stars. Its color changed from green to orange, suggesting it could be a meteor or fireball. The object moved from true north toward the east, disappearing shortly after. The observation lasted about three seconds, and there were no photographs or radar involved. Although initially considered a UFO, later analysis pointed to a natural explanation.
