🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A U.S. Navy officer reported in 1961 observing a bright white round object, the size of a pinhead, near the coordinates 22°22'N 124°00'E. The sighting occurred at 02:45 local time, when the object was moving in a 120° direction at an approximate speed of 10° arc per minute. Although several explanations were considered, such as balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena, the data was insufficient to reach a definitive conclusion. The lack of information about the duration of the sighting and the exact elevation made analysis difficult.
The report, part of Project 10073, was classified as "insufficient for evaluation," suggesting the possibility of an unidentified object was not ruled out. The document included corrections and was distributed to multiple military authorities, including the Seventh Fleet Command and the Pentagon. Despite the clear description of the object, no further actions or investigations were taken, leaving this case unresolved.
