A 1951 report describes the observation of an unidentified flying object in Papua New Guinea. A couple saw it at dawn for 15 minutes. The bright object, possibly delta-winged, moved northeast without making noise. Although witnesses considered it as an aircraft or balloon, investigators suggested it could have been an astronomical phenomenon caused by atmospheric refraction. Due to lack of information and inaccessibility, further investigation was not possible.
