🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1961, a witness in Wisconsin Dells reported a circular object with orange and yellow hues moving slowly southwest. No photos or radar were used, but the report suggests it might have been Jupiter, which was low on the horizon and very bright that night. Atmospheric refraction can distort and discolor celestial objects, leading to misidentification. No evidence indicated the object was anything other than a planet. The report is brief and lacks many details, but clearly points to an astronomical explanation.
