🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1961, a firefighter from Wayne Township, Ohio, reported observing a stationary luminous object in the night sky. The testimony, collected by the U.S. Air Force, describes a bright point that did not move and whose brightness fluctuated. It was compared to a bright star in the northeast. The report lacks photographs or precise location data, making evaluation difficult. Investigators suggested it could have been the star Capella, though it was not confirmed. The testimony was deemed insufficient for a conclusive evaluation due to lack of essential information.
