🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1961, a civilian observer in Nevada reported three white, round objects for two hours. The sighting occurred without noise or unusual features, causing confusion. Two of the objects moved northeast, while the third remained in the area. The report was called in to civil defense authorities, but no further reports were received from nearby military bases or the sheriff's office.
Air defense sectors in San Francisco confirmed no aircraft or intercepts in the area during that time, leading to the consideration that the objects were not aircraft. However, due to insufficient data and the inability to identify them with certainty, the case was classified as "insufficient for evaluation." Despite clear weather conditions, the nature of the objects remained unidentified, leaving open the possibility of balloons, unregistered aircraft, or astronomical phenomena.
