🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1961, an observer in Carmi, British Columbia, reported seeing a bright elliptical object, described as the size of a 50-cent coin when viewed through a theodolite. The object was moving rapidly and was observed for about 20 minutes. Although several data points were collected, such as elevation and azimuth angles, no clear identification of the phenomenon was made. Investigators concluded that the information was insufficient to determine if it was a balloon, aircraft, or astronomical event.
