Summary

In July 1961, a 39-year-old woman in Raymonsville, Texas, observed an object she described as a disc with equal proportions on top and bottom. According to her testimony, the object was approximately 90 to 100 feet wide and shimmered in a bright silver or aluminum color. The witness saw the object move slowly, hover, and then accelerate rapidly as it disappeared into a cloud. Although the possibility of an unusual cloud was considered, the lack of additional witnesses and the inability to confirm the object's identity led to the sighting being classified as "insufficient for evaluation."

The detailed description of the object and its unusual behavior generated some curiosity among researchers at the time. However, the absence of physical evidence or corroborating witnesses limited any definitive conclusions. This case, like many others, remains in the category of unresolved reports, reminding us that even with detailed accounts, unidentified aerial phenomena remain a mystery to science.
