🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1961, a group of people at a mountain-top guest house southwest of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, observed a bright object in the sky. The witness described a light moving northeast, brighter than any visible star. Though unsure of its identity, the observer ruled out an aircraft. The object displayed erratic movements, even appearing to "jump" at times, raising questions about atmospheric effects or visual focus. The sighting lasted between 5 and 10 minutes, and no response was received after the witness sent a letter to the authorities. Despite the detailed account, no official confirmation or follow-up occurred.
