🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1961, a witness in Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, reported a luminous object that appeared in the west and disappeared in the south. The object shone with a brightness similar to stars and displayed irregular movement, stopping and accelerating. The observer, a radar technician with experience, watched the phenomenon for 15 minutes and concluded it could be a satellite. Fluctuations in brightness and movement were attributed to atmospheric conditions. Although not confirmed with space tracking, the report suggests it could be a satellite or balloon.
