🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1961, a woman in San Diego observed an unidentified flying object passing over the city. The object was larger than six jet planes and moved at a speed exceeding any known U.S. technology. It had a crescent shape and displayed flashing and rotating lights. Although the report classified it as "insufficient data for evaluation," the witness insisted it was not an illusion or a balloon. Her testimony was sent to the military, but no investigation was conducted due to the delay in notification.
The official response from the Department of Defense was questioned by the witness, who pointed out contradictions in the official report. The five-page document seemed to deny the existence of UFOs but also encouraged their reporting. The witness argued that this created confusion and did not convince anyone. She insisted her testimony was valid and that other sightings also deserved serious investigation.
