🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1961, a geologist reported an unidentified flying object near Tonopah, Nevada. On September 24, while driving, he observed an intense and bright light hovering over a mountain. Using binoculars, he watched the object for eight minutes. The light focused vertically and disappeared. He then tried to contact government agencies without success. Later, while returning, he saw another glowing object moving rapidly.
The report includes details about the clear weather and the absence of engine sounds. The geologist searched the area but found no traces. The Air Force classified it as possibly Jupiter and a meteor, but no definitive conclusion was reached. The case remains unresolved.
