🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1961, a machine shop operator for Pan American Airways observed two bright green objects over Cape Canaveral. Both were circular, basketball-sized, and seen separately five minutes apart, each for five seconds. No sound was heard. The 24-year-old witness saw them with the naked eye, describing them as falling straight down. Weather conditions were excellent, but no physical evidence was found. The Air Force checked for missile activity but found nothing unusual.
Patrick Air Force Base investigated and found no connection to missile or related activities. Observers considered the possibility of meteors from the Taurid stream, but no confirmation was made. Despite the witness being deemed reliable, the cause remained unknown. This case, lacking photos or radar data, remains an unsolved mystery in the UFO archives.
