🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1961, a witness in Roseburg, Oregon, reported seeing a silent object flying through the sky. The event lasted approximately two and a half minutes, and the witness took three photographs with his camera. Although the report includes detailed images and descriptions, authorities were unable to identify the object in the photos. Several possibilities were considered, such as balloons or aircraft, but no definitive conclusion was reached. The case was classified as insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
The report includes detailed questions about the sky conditions, the duration of the observation, and the exact location of the object. Despite the witness's claim that the object made no noise and moved in an unusual way, the images did not reveal any clearly defined object. The Air Force concluded that there was not enough information to determine the nature of the phenomenon. The case was filed without a definitive resolution, but it remains an interesting example of how UFO sightings were investigated in the 1960s.
