🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1962, a college student in Morehead, Kentucky, observed several luminous objects shaped like a "V". The witness, an amateur astronomer, was using binoculars and noticed the objects moving quickly without leaving a trail or making noise. It was estimated there were between 8 and 12 objects, and one of them changed position during the observation. Although they were not clearly identified, it was suggested they might be birds reflecting light from a nearby streetlight.
The official evaluation concluded that the data was insufficient to determine the exact nature of the objects. Possibilities such as birds, balloons, or reflections were considered, but none were confirmed. The report noted that the movement and formation were not typical of conventional aerial formations, leaving the identity of the objects uncertain.
