🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1962, a young amateur astronomer in Miami captured an image of several unidentified aerial objects. While searching for the Seki-Lines comet, he observed four bright points in a diamond formation that crossed the sky in 17 seconds. The objects, red-orange in color, appeared to be at low altitude and made no sound. Although initially considered a balloon or aircraft, their speed and lack of noise raised doubts.
The photograph revealed five objects, one of which was not visually observed. Observers used binoculars and cameras, and the case was analyzed by experts. Despite the evidence, no definitive conclusion was reached. The report was shared with the Air Force and Dr. J. Allen Hynek, who considered it worthy of study due to the quality of the data.
