🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1962, a naval crew in the Pacific observed a white, pea-shaped object. The sighting happened during a star fix, with the object appearing at 28 degrees elevation and disappearing at 20 degrees. Observers used binoculars and a sextant, and the object was seen for one minute and 45 seconds. Although a satellite was considered, no data confirmed it. The report lacks photos but notes a high reliability assessment.
The report was classified under Project 10073 and sent to multiple military units. The exact location was 10.52N 149.59W, and the object didn't display typical balloon, aircraft, or astronomical behavior. Despite insufficient data, observers concluded the object was non-conventional. This case remains one of the many unresolved mysteries in UFO history.
