🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1962, a witness in Coloma, Michigan, reported seeing an unidentified object at about 60 degrees above the horizon. The observer checked all possibilities, such as car lights or airport beacons, but ruled them out. They concluded it could be a new aircraft or even an alien visitor. Interestingly, another report from the area mentioned a meteor sighting at the same time, suggesting it might have been an astronomical event. Despite the initial confusion, the case was filed as likely astronomical.
