🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1962 UFO case describes five bright objects seen in formation from a car in Rochester, New Hampshire. The witness, a 28-year-old man, described the objects as "greenish-silver," with blurred edges and a motion resembling a welding torch flame. They appeared at about 45 degrees above the horizon and moved northward before disappearing behind trees. Although the report lacks photos or radar data, investigators considered the possibility of meteors or particles from an explosion. The witness, along with his wife, stated they had clear vision and the sky was clear. Despite the precise formation, the phenomenon could not be identified with certainty.
The official Project 10073 report concluded there was insufficient data to determine the nature of the objects, but mentioned the possibility of bolides. The witness, unable to identify the object, expressed his belief that humanity was not alone in the universe.
