🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A bright multicolored object was observed in May 1962 over Vancouver and surrounding areas, causing widespread excitement. Witnesses reported a luminous phenomenon with colors like green, orange, and white, moving rapidly from north to south. It was estimated to be about 200 feet long and left a burning trail. Initially thought to be a meteor, some doubted this due to the object's apparent power. The event was so impactful it interrupted a baseball game and caused traffic jams. Experts like Dr. R. M. Topette identified it as a meteor, but controversy lingered.
