🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1968, a witness near Dayton, Ohio, observed a luminous object moving from the northwest to the north. The light was described as yellowish-white and generally round, with blurred edges. The object remained visible for about 45 seconds to a minute. Although no photos were taken, the witness observed it visually from the ground. The lack of precise data made a definitive evaluation difficult, but investigators suggested it was likely an advertising searchlight in Springfield, Ohio. This type of lighting, common at the time, was used for night advertisements and could explain the object's appearance and movement.
