🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1962, a bright silver object was seen falling near Ayoayo, Bolivia, between noon and 1 p.m. Three witnesses reported the event, but an initial search failed to find anything. Authorities planned a second search with more resources. While the object was considered a possible meteor, no definitive conclusion was reached.
The classified report under Project 10073 concluded the object was likely an astronomical meteor. However, the lack of physical evidence and the inability to locate the impact left other possibilities open. This case, like many others, reflects the uncertainty surrounding UFO sightings during that era.
