🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1952, a bright object was observed in British Honduras (now Belize) by multiple witnesses. The object initially moved southwest before changing direction to northeast, crossing the zenith before descending slowly and disappearing. Although a balloon, satellite, or astronomical phenomenon were considered, no definitive conclusion was reached. The observation occurred at dusk, complicating the object's identification. The description of movement and lack of precise data generated doubts about its nature.
The report, classified under Project 10073, was reviewed by the U.S. Air Force, but no clear explanation was found. The attached letter, despite transcription errors and confusing dates, adds a civilian testimony about an object seen in a similar location. Despite multiple observers, the report concludes there was insufficient information to evaluate the phenomenon with certainty.
